A 55-year-old man was shot and killed in Bakerton yesterday (Tuesday) at around 11.30am.

According to the South African Police Service’s Twitter account, the man was shot in First Street as he exited his vehicle at a shoe repair shop.

Springs Taxi Association (STA) chairperson Leonard Molo, says the deceased man was not a member of the STA, but that he resides in Bakerton.
