Man found killed in Tsakane

Tsakane – Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a man was found dead behind the Viva Supermarket in Extension Nine.

It is alleged the police received a report of the murder of an unknown man who had been confirmed dead by the paramedics on the scene.

Tsakane police spokesperson, Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu, says the unknown deceased is estimated to be between the ages of 30 and 35.

“He sustained injuries to his head. His clothing – grey trousers, black belt, black Uzzi formal shoes, black socks and navy blue jerseys – were found next to his body.

“Ekurhuleni East Cluster investigation team is urging anyone who might have witnessed or known what might have happened to the deceased to come forward.

“Also, family members who are searching for their loved ones, and find the above description a match to their missing family member, are requested to contact Sgt Godlive Baloyi on 011 363 5300 or 076 143 3144,” she says.
