School holiday programmes for primary school learners

KwaThema – Isolembongi Creations, a non-profit organisation, will be hosting a school holiday programme for primary school learners.

The organisation hosted it’s first school holiday programme in June this year.

The holiday programme is aimed at educating Grade One to Grade Seven learners on different forms of art and other projects as well.

This is to give learners an opportunity to productively spend their holidays and to create a safe environment for them.

Khulogo Mpolokeng, the public relations manager of the organisation, says they aim to keep the learners busy with edutainment programmes that will educate them but still be fun and interesting.

The organisation is asking anyone who is able to assist them with stationery like crayons, paints, paint brushes, food, caps and T-shirts to do so. The programme will take place on October 1, 3 and 5 at Al Yaseen Masjid Hall in Langaville Extension Eight.

The learners or parents can collect consent forms in the first week of September in the hall or at 19037 Mcakumbane Street, extension KwaThema.
