The u-9 division of Mighty Falcon.

KwaThema – Fortune Puluwana from Highland in KwaThema started Mighty Falcon soccer team twenty years ago in order to gather learners from different parts of KwaThema and teach them what he is passionate about.

The team has launched its u-9 division. Puluwana says children under the age of nine years are keen to join soccer teams in order to have their talents nurtured. However, because of their age, they are often neglected.

He believes that if players are trained from an early age, they can develop their talents as they grow older.

Pulawana says his team plays in five divisions in different tournaments in the Springs Local Football.

Young children get an opportunity to be spotted by soccer scouts when they play in tournaments.

Anyone who wants to enlist their children in the u-9 up to the u-19 divisions should contact coach Puluwana on 078 138 1174.
