Body of four-year-old found in Spaarwater Dam

Bokamoso Tsotetsi’s body was found in Spaarwater Dam on Saturday afternoon.

Duduza – The body of four-year-old Bokamoso Tsotetsi was found in Spaarwater Dam on Saturday afternoon.

The girl was reported missing on Friday afternoon when her parents could not find her.

She was last seen playing with other children outside her home around 3.30pm on Friday wearing blue jeans, a blue vest and Nike sneakers.

Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka says the police are investigating a case of murder.

“The body was found by a passer-by who noticed the body of a child and immediately informed the police.

“The police responded immediately and discovered the body was of the child who was reported missing the previous night,” explains Manaka.

The police are asking for assistance from anyone who may have information that could lead to the arrest of the person or people who may have committed the crime. They can contact Duduza SAPS on 071 675 7027.
