A man was driving along Neon Road close to Radon Road when a yellow Peugeot 404 allegedly overtook and stopped in front of him.

KwaThema police spokesperson, Capt Thabo Sibuyi, says it is alleged the suspects instructed the driver to take them to KwaThema hostel.

“He was driving a white Mazda 323,” Sibuyi says.

“One of the men from the car hit him on his head with a steel object and forced him out of the car and started assaulting him.

“They then forced him inside the boot and drove to Payneville, were they left him stranded.

“He sustained injuries on the head and left hand wrist.”
