KwaThema police spokesperson, Captain Thabo Sibuyi, says the men allegedly asked Vincent for a lift to Tsakane.

“He told them he was not going in that direction but before he knew it one of the men sprayed him with an unknown substance in his eyes.

“He fainted and when he woke up he was sitting in the driver’s seat and his R3 000 cash, bank cards and house keys were missing.

“The complainant says he will be able to identify the suspects,” he says.

Sibuyi says they are urging residents to avoid carrying large sums of money and be vigilant, especially when driving at night.
