“He drove towards the place where he was directed to but when he was about to make a turn into Mndebele Street, the man sitting in the front seat pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him.

“He instructed him to continue driving. He was instructed to make a turn on Rietfointein Road and drive to the N17.

“While driving he decided to stop next to the bridge and got out of the car. The man in the front seat drove away with the car towards N17.

“He walked towards Devon section and saw a metro police bakkie approaching and asked for help.

“They tried to follow the Tazz but it was nowhere to be found. He then proceeded to the offices of the tracker company.

“The vehicle was recovered with the help of the tracker company in Kriel,” he says.

Sibuyi says there were no gunshots fired, no injuries sustained and no one has been arrested.
